A native of Detroit, Michigan, Dr. Alpiner, received his Bachelor’s Arts Degree from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, and received his Medical Degree from Wayne State School of Medicine in Detroit. Post graduate training was completed at the Detroit Medical Center where he received dual degrees in Pediatrics from Children’s Hospital of Michigan, and in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation from the Rehabilitation of Michigan.

Dr. Alpiner is Double Board Certified in Pediatrics and in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.

As an Neuroscientist, Dr. Alpiner, has devoted his carrier to identifying how the brain and body adapts and reacts to stressors.

Dr. Alpiner is happily married to his childhood sweetheart, Karen and is the proud father of five children. Hobbies include biking, reading, writing and playing with his kids and the family dog, Snickers.
